I am so pumped about this book. I am a magician, mentalist, and ventriloquist, so the topic is highly engaging for me. I’ve been huge fan of Peretti for years (books, TV, and movies). His work has had a major impact on my life and the lives of my family and friends. Thank you, Frank, for this release and all of your others!
Ah, very cool. I think you’ll find this book all the more engaging because of your inside knowledge and experience in the field of magic and performing arts. Thanks for writing!
When will be Spanish edition?
Hi, Frank. Your novel The Oath published in Spanish by the former Editorial Caribe was given to me to translate into Spanish. This was in 1996. Working in translation, came to my mind and my heart a wonderful call from God. The Oath shown me a new way in my ministry (I am a missionary working with Latin America Mission). The Oath inspired me to start our Latin American Association of Christian Writers, emphazising our goals in Christian fiction literature. I am talking about Spanish language. For almost twelve years we have been working in this direction and for now we have about a dozen new writers and two or three writing in the permanent concept. I hope your new novel will be translated into Spanish. If not, anyway, I will read it in English. The main purpose in this my communication with you is to tell you the tremendous effect The Oath have have in our Christian literature production in our Spanish language world.
How very exciting to release a new book to a hungry reading public! What brings you the most satisfaction as a writer: new readers finding you, loyal readers loving your new work, seeing your writing as a movie, or ???

Touching the lives of my readers, I suppose. What a feeling!
Hey, I’m reading chapter 22 of Illusion and I don’t remember the character Seamus tried to find it can’t seem to. Can anyone tell me about who he is?
Seamus is the young and handsome lawyer who arranges for “Eloise” to obtain a birth certificate, social security number, and military ID so that she can get a driver’s license. Then, as we see in Chapter 22, he further involves himself in Mandy’s life by having Thanksgiving dinner with her, and there he reveals that he has apparently reached a significant financial settlement with the hospital for sending those two thugs to try to kidnap her.
I’m a bit confused by Seamus. At the Thanksgiving scene, he seems to be an angel. “Well, he was Seamus. He was bred to look after her.” And then he prays, thanking God for the dinner, so he appears to be Godly. Then, at the end he just disappears. But he seemed to display some un-angel like characteristics at times. Will someone please tell me exactly what or who Seamus is?
Wow, just finished “Illusion”! As a writer and a reader I was drawn in and entertained just like all the other Peretti novels. As a minister I enjoyed the message. I read it while on my 39th wedding anniversary trip this weekend and I just turned 60 this year so this particular novel really made me think what would I do if I were in “Dane’s” situation. Highly recommended to all and a job well done, Frank.
