yep. my two best books by you and really, its not to say the others were not great. There is always an excellent picture of the love and care the Lord has for His people coming across in all your books. Along with the need for us not to take the thinks of God fro granted, yt the story lines are never dull!
Having read the two books, i discovered that the angels are not only there to protect but also to fight in the stead of a believer. The Present Darkness and Piercing The Darkness are eye openers 4 every true believer.
I really enjoyed This Present Darkness… really thought provoking on how negativity affects oneself and could be attributed to dark forces… makes me reconsider my bad moods and trying to find a better way of looking at circumstances… also found it interesting to see how the angels were portrayed … looking forward to reading more by this author.

i had heard rumblings of a TPD movie for almost 20 years. it needs to be made and get michael w smith to do the music he’s expressed interest. eight harry potter movies and not a TPD movie to counter it? come on this is one of the things i want to see before i leave this earth (by death or by rapture). let’s get the ball rolling!! TPD fans unite!!!

18 years ago I first accepted Jesus as my Savior and these were the books I read. They had a very profound affect on me and gave me aide in my own prayer, which at the time was so foreign to me. Now I have a family of my own and just reread the two books. They still bring me to my knees in tears and prayer, and renew my faith to teach our children to be spiritual warriors in these conflicting times.
I was given these books about 20 years ago when I was a kid and a new christian,
WOW they really opened my eyes to an awesome new perspective of Heavenly things
They are two of my Most treasured books in my collection!

I have been an avid fan for years, after reading both the This Present Darkness and then Piercing the Darkness books. Amazing books! To me what makes an author an exceptional writer is when I can close my eyes and visualize what is being described so clearly because the writing is so articulate-and I can do so when I read your two books. I have followed along with almost all of your books, excluding the childrens series, and Mr. Peretti, I have to say that I am so excited for the new book you will have coming out soon. No, you did not portray the spiritual warfare as vividly in some of your other books written as the above two, but they were still excellent reads, and I can only expect the best to continue in your new project.
I think it would be so cool for a cartoon movie to be made out of This Present Darkness or Piercing the Darkness. In the world of computer graphics that exists now, it would be awesome, and I know I would buy it!

I love this book! It has helped me to develop a better view on Angels,Demons, and how to deal with it. This was on my christmas list this year! I am an avid reader, and an avid writer. You are one of my favorite authors of all time. This present darkness is a book that i keep coming back to read again and again.
Frank, I’ve been waiting for the movie release of This Present Darkness. Having read it over and over, I am certain that it would be a blockbuster hit immediately. But, more importantly, it would serve to educate people of what this Christian warfare is truly all about. Please, Frank, please – I, for one, am tired of vampire movies and naked people movies. It would be so refreshing to see something substantial on the big screen and, the church folk alone would make this movie a hit, not to mention the thrill-seekers. In the meantime, our prayer group will be in prayer that you will be lead to the right people and that God’s hand will be on this project.
This Present Darkness, helped to open my eyes to the spritual realm. An awesome book, could not put it down. So many distractions that tried to prevent me from reading it. In the end, victory. Very educational for me and my walk with the Lord. Reccommend that this book definitely needs to be made into a movie!

These two books have changed the way I view absolutely everything, I have always known that we are never “alone”, but these novels put faces to the good and the bad that are very present with us all, each and every day. I had bad dreams for a few nights after finishing the series, guess the scary pictures in my head got the better of me! ( The webpage I viewed while looking for This Present Darkness movie did not help lol ) Totally worth it tho You have talent, no doubt… and God blessed you with the ability to help the rest of us come to terms with spiritual warfare. Read several of your books, and they are all phenomenal. Keep em coming!
My first experience with This Present darkness was listening to those books done by the Library of Congress using a special 4-track recorder. Tha narrator was Roy Avers and he made those books come to life. I’m actually reading the audible version right now and love those book emensely.
Mr. Peretti, have you considered writing a prequel to the darkness series….one about the story of Tal and fighting the demons back in Babylon as you allude to several times in this present darkness….away ways I would sure be interested in reading that story, just and ideas….love your books!!
These books made the difference between staying in the New Age Movement and returning to God and church – I thank God for this author and these books every time I think where I was headed and where I am now. Write more, please.
